[makes you smile]

There were quite a few things that made me smile today:

1. Pop tart crumbs spewed from Gavin's mouth at breakfast.

2. Keep on keepin' it real Kegan.

3. A certain dog that will lay in the small strip of sun, and follow it as it moves across the room.

4. Seeing how hard Gavin works at gross motor skills during occupational therapy.

5. Mistaking a clump of hair in the shower for a daddy-long-legs. Screaming in terror and then sighing in relief and embarrassment.

6. Seeing Ryan's name on my ringing phone.

7. Listening to the boys discuss fumunda cheese.

8. Remembering that I have dark chocolate Hershey Kisses in the fridge.

9. Seeing a mini van drive by with tinted windows, fancy spinning rims and a home-boy at the wheel. You rock on with your bad self.

10. Gavin as serious as can be, " Mom, I need a word with you ! Lucy is eating tissues."

A few things that did not make me smile today:

1. Cleaning up pop tart crumbs all over the table from messy boys.

2. Hearing mini-van driving bad boy's loud rap music.

3. Lucy eating tissues AND a lead pencil.

4. Thinking I was in the shower with a spider.

5. Afghanistan.
