Have you seen the IKEA commercial where the couple come home from vacation ? Sunburned, ragged, tired ? They flop down on their bed and commence moaning over how much they missed the bed ?

I totally get that.

We just recently downsized to a queen bed, and we bought a new mattress from IKEA.

HOLY MOLY I LOVE MY NEW MATTRESS !

First off I have to tell you I am pretty particular about my sleeping arrangements. Ryan thinks I am neurotic, I am sure ( I haven't asked and don't really want to know.) The most important thing to note is that I am always cold, this includes in bed.

We have sheets. White. Bleached every week. I do not iron them contrary to popular belief.

Then we have a quilted comforter, again white. Again bleached.

On top of that is a down comforter.

On top of that is another quilt.

(do you see where this is going.....?)

I suppose I should mention that I also wear clothes (including socks) to bed as well.

Sometimes I am still cold.
